It is with a great deal of excitement that we announce Robbie Devore is returning to hosting races on iRacing under the Rebel Valley Sim Club branch! Devore took absense back in May of this year to focus on real-life racing commitments, specifically at the revived Mansfield Motor Speedway.
Now that the winter times are coming, the offseason is here for real-life racing. This gives Robbie the opportunity to return on the virtual side. We are excited to return to the virtual race track with MC Motorsports. There are a few things that are important to know:
We plan to have 5 Full-Time drivers on MC Motorsports for this "new era". These drivers and numbers are:
KILLEEN, TEXAS
139 STARTS, 3 WINS, 10 PODIUMS, 16 TOP 5s, 54 TOP 10s, 109 TOP 20s, 2 POLES, 30 DNFs
APPLETON, WISCONSIN
53 STARTS, 0 WINS, 1 PODIUMS, 6 TOP 5s, 25 TOP 10s, 46 TOP 20s, 0 POLES, 4 DNFs
KAUKAUNA, WISCONSIN
7 STARTS, 0 WINS, 1 PODIUMS, 1 TOP 5s, 2 TOP 10s, 5 TOP 20s, 0 POLES, 1 DNF
MICHIGAN
111 STARTS, 7 WINS, 24 PODIUMS, 46 TOP 5s, 79 TOP 10s, 106 TOP 20s, 6 POLES, 22 DNFs
APPLETON, WISCONSIN
398 STARTS, 58 WINS, 179 PODIUMS, 256 TOP 5s, 328 TOP 10s, 379 TOP 20s, 44 POLES, 23 DNFs
COMBINED RVSC STATS WITH THESE DRIVERS
708 ATTEMPTS, 68 WINS, 215 PODIUMS, 325 TOP 5s, 488 TOP 10s, 645 TOP 20s, 52 POLES, 80 DNFs (11.3% rate)
PATRICK CONNELL
Texas-native Patrick Connell looks forward to returning after a many-month hiatus from iRacing. Connell has been the longest full-time driver not with the last name Cmejla, and is hoping to just have fun with RVSC's return.
"We look forward to it, hopefully the return of my beloved Asphalt Media will mend the wounds placed by the recent disappointments amongst the real racing scene," states Connell.
BRAD CMEJLA
Brad Cmejla also has been on a break from iRacing for many months. He looks forward to getting back to consistent Top 10s and Top 15s and is still looking for that first-career victory.
COLE TRUDEAU
After a very successful campaign with MC Motorsports in real-life racing, the Fox River Racing Club Sizzlin 4s Series, Cole looks to get his first iRacing win with MC Motorsports. Cole racked up 2 heat wins and a 2nd-place feature finish over the summer at Wisconsin International Raceway in FRRC. Cole is a new full-time edition to our iRacing program, after racing a few part-time starts in 2025 in RVSC.
CAMERON FACE
Some call him "the most successful driver hire" in MC Motorsports history, Cameron continued to impress, still winning races during the recent months of limited racing activity. Cameron returns with Stark Create and his famous #85 and hopes to get more wins.
MARTY CMEJLA
Cmejla will return to the #88. Cmejla will return but with some mechanical issues, running as our "underfunded" car unfortunately. Cmejla's wheel force-feedback since iRacing's UI update has been all-but-eliminated, and his brake pedal problems that we saw on-and-off over the last few years are also back with different force. Cmejla still believes he can be competitive but likely not as competitive as his prime. Cmejla, and all our drivers, are mainly in it for the fun.
"We are just excited to get some more starts for the team. The lack of racing going on in the past few months has been tough," Cmejla says. Zechariah Cartledge acquired Cmejla's SimStock Series, but since with the Winter Series hasn't been hosting a regular-schedule of races recently.
Some may wonder where Zayden Cortinas is, after he scored his first career RVSC win with MC Motorsports back in the summer, and almost another one back in August. Cortinas said it himself he "doesn't want to return" to the team, we speculate due to number/sponsor restrictions specific to MC Motorsports - but you can expect Cortinas back on a part-time basis.
What does MC Motorsports look like for sponsors? Recently Marty Cmejla and Cole Trudeau started the hunt for real-life sponsors from 2025 returning for 2026, so the status of these sponsors is unknown. But under contracts, these sponsors from 2025 get their benefits until May of 2026 unless they announce they won't return to the team before.
Ashton Roberts, a name familiar to many of MC Motorsports' truest supporters, will return to MC Motorsports with sponsorship, this time under his most successful company: DecorNation. This sponsorship starts solely on the virtual side. Roberts has interest in sponsoring our Sizzlin 4s program as well. Roberts was the CEO of two former MC Motorsports sponsors: New Line Pristine and Tru View Homes. Both of these companies went bankrupt.
Robbie announced two potential schedules for the return of racing:
TRUCKS @ DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
INDYCAR @ INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
ARCA @ LANGLEY SPEEDWAY
1987S @ TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY
NEXT GEN @ LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
ARCA @ RICHMOND RACEWAY
There was a poll amongst the community for which schedule should be ran. The date for the opening night of the new era of RVSC is TBD. Our driver lineup is also TBD for said night.
"It's gonna be interesting. A lot of us on MC Motorsports have barely raced in the last half-year. Getting acquainted should be fun but it will have its challenges," said Cmejla. We look forward to seeing what the future holds!
Further details about Robbie's return and involvement in RVSC are still TBD
