It was announced on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov 23rd, 2023) that Marty Cmejla would race in the DriveSmart California 500, an E-Ticket Event that will be broadcasted on the Idk Player YouTube Channel, December 15th at 8:00 PM ET. The race will be 250 laps long, for an accumulated 500 miles at Auto Club Speedway.

The event is sponsored by DriveSmart Warranty, and the cash prize for winning the race is $500.00. As spots were filling up for the event, Cmejla hadn't been called yet in regards to his racing status. Cmejla pinged Jonathan Ramos in the Idk Player Discord at 9:57 PM asking "Will Cmejla race in the California 500 👀". Cmejla got an immediate response from Ramos saying "join mosh" (The Voice Chat for signing). Cmejla, being out-of-state, had things to do and logged off. But he logged on and joined the call.

Ramos had a quick conversation with Cmejla. He asked if Cmejla would be willing to back up his USA 500 finish of 11th with the Miccosukee Casino & Resort Mike Wallace #09 Dodge Charger. Cmejla accepted the offer.

Marty Cmejla raced in the previous 2-mile track, 500-mile E-Ticket Event: The USA 500. Cmejla qualified 29th and finished the grueling race in 11th, just coming 1 spot short of a Top 10. This has been Cmejla's only E-Ticket event so far. 

"Auto Club is a good track for me, especially with the Gen-4. In normal NR Night events, we have ran in the Top 10 and contended with some of NR's biggest names. I hope we can make some noice come December 15th, 8 PM ET on the Idk Player YouTube channel."
