What started out primarily as a joke has become a reality. Yes, you read the headline right. Daniel M. Mosteller, better known as Dmos, will join MC Motorsports during Tuesday night’s NR Night in America, for a 1-race contract deal. Dmos will drive the #87 MC Motorsports/storemcm.com White Chevrolet.

CEO of the team, Marty Cmejla, said “I am extremely excited for this opportunity. To get an NR Night Hall of Famer on the team for a race is a big deal for our sponsors. Dmos is obviously a proven multi-time race winner and is one of the greatest on iRacing. We hope Dmos can deliver MC Motorsports our first team win.”

Dmos is only expected to race with MC Motorsports for 1 of the races Tuesday night. When Cmejla asked Dmos “1 race or the full night?” about the contract, Dmos responded, “1 race for now! I'd like to see the schedule!” This means the contract may be extended to 2-4 races depending on Dmos’ thoughts on the schedule.

It will certainly be cool to see Dmos under the MC Motorsports banners. Dmos is the first driver hired to MC Motorsports since Levi Lipe in April of 2023. In May, MC Motorsports had drivers amongst Marty Cmejla, Bradley Cmejla, Connor Murphy, Jacob Quill, Justin Connor, and Levi Lipe but in an agreement with Quill to form Quill Autosport, it became back to Marty and Bradley as the only drivers. After Quill formed Quill Autosport, it only took a few races for Quill to get his first win at Pocono.

Cmejla is extremely excited for the opportunity and is looking forward to Tuesday night.
